CuteNews is a very popular blogging tool. It's easy to install, and anyone with a domain can use it. (You don't even need an advanced understanding of PHP!)

First, download CuteNews from CutePHP.com.

Unzip the file and save it to your desktop. You can unzip this file using Winzip.

FTP the Cutenews folder to your webhosting account. After all of the files are finished uploading, you need to change some of their properties. CHMOD your index.php file to 777. CHMOD the data folder to 777.

Now, go to your Cutenews homepage. This should be located at http://www.yoursite.com/cutenews/index.php.

The page that opens up will say Cutenews Installer. Continue by clicking on the "Proceed Installation >>" button. If you receive any errors, make sure you CHMOD all the required files (index.php & data folder).

After you fill out the required areas in the form, you should be finished with installation. For security reasons, delete the inc/install.mdu file. Afterwards, you are now free to log in!
